Ballpark accurate, not medical-grade.

Why the number moves:

• Head pose - looking slightly up/down or tilting your head changes the angle a lot. Even 1–2° of tilt can shift the reading.
• Camera angle - webcam below or above your face isn't the same as a straight-on clinical photo.
• It's not measuring bone / canthus with callipers.
• Lighting / resolution - bad light or blur = worse landmark placement.

Rule of thumb: treat it as ±1 - 3° noise depending on how well you lined up. If you scan 5 times with perfect posture you might get slightly different numbers each time.

For a real measurement you'd want standardised front-facing photos, consistent head position (Frankfort horizontal), and manual or clinical landmarking - not a live webcam mesh.

TL;DR: useful fun tool and decent for tracking your own trend if you scan the same way every time. Don't obsess over 0.5° differences or compare directly to photos measured another way.
