(title might be clickbait but no im not norwooding)
i have medium length curls right now im which im planning to do keratin treatment on next year to loosen them a bit
the dilemma im in now is that my hair health is absolutely nuked
my hairs cut uneven, i have split ends, its frizzy and damaged and i also have bad scalp issues causing me major dandruff
the thing is i see no reason to do keratin with these current issues as it wont even look as great as it could and it may even worsen my already damaged hair
i was thinking to go fully bald so i can try and attempt to solve my scalp issues but to also assure that my hair grows in full and healthy so in 9 months time i’ll have a head of strong healthy hair that’ll respond well to keratin
but man if i go bald im so fucked
i will look so horrible (doesn’t suit my face at all + i have an inflammed scalp) and im currently about to start my first year of university
so descending myself that badly will definitely stunt my ability to try and make friends and improve my social skills as literally everyone will look at me with disgust
im currently weighing up if its best to value the short-term or the long-term
if i value the short-term, my hair will stay damaged and overall will take me way longer to finally get it to a place where it’s optimised, but at least i won’t look as horrible for university and i’ll have better chances of making friends and improving my social skills
if i value the long-term, i’ll completely eradicate my social status, be a complete loner throughout the entire year but at least this time next year i’ll have the best looking hair i have ever had in my life
sorry for the long ass essay, but what do you guys think
