I’m considering joining monastery at this point of my life

I’m looking for a meaning in life. Getting drunk every weekend or playing video games definitely isn’t what I would consider meaningful activities. I’m tired of the modern world and how everything and everyone is constantly online. I already like Jesus Christ as a historical figure and I like to read Bible and religious scriptures.
I will never be attractive and I don’t want to insert titanium plates into my skull just to feel worthy of female attention (I don’t need that anyway).

Yeah if I get botched or get into my 30s without succeeding I will probably do the same

I want to at least try whatever I can to make this life worth living first but if I can't do it I would want to be a monk

I once saw a documentary about a monk in Germany whose monastery had closed down, and he then had to apply to several other monasteries, but he still wasn’t accepted.

Church in general in Germany is collapsing. They are even combining protestant churches with catholic since there aren’t much Christians left which is sad. In my country it is a bit different but I would need to study theology to be fully integrated
