I'm conskdering joining a church group

People there make strong social circles and most get their partners and life experiences by assisting to those groups alone.

But I don't know if I'd be able to endure all the activities and paradigms people have there, like praying, God exists and so on.

I've been looking into churches lately out of curiousty, most seem very money hungry. One church even selling merch

I fell for the "find a girl at church" meme two years ago. When I went there were 3 girls total under 25. The only one that was single had 7 of the churchgoing men going for her; offering to drive her home, complementing her outfits, baking cupcakes for her and shit. Very competitive, but they kept a weird socially friendly facade going on between them.

Literal sausage fest, meanwhile the girl was a low MTB and I really wouldn't be surprised if she'd been plowed through given her mannerisms and the fact she looked 24/25.

Your experience may be different, so I'd still give it a shot. Just don't go there expecting to make friends or meeting a cool girl or anything, just take things as they come and make your assessments in real time.

Was it a modern church? There are church groups these days for young adults and they also have a social media presence so you can see who attends these events before going

This was a local Catholic church, but they have certain services which are moreso encouraged for young people to attend since the church is close to a university.

I wouldn't call it modern though since they have no social media presence and the priest is fairly old.

Update the church im talking about seems to be called an Evangelical Megachurch, or just a megachurch
