Yes, gulab jamun. It was created centuries ago during back the Mughal era, back then there was no Pakistan or India, we called it Hindustan (land of the Indus (river)). It was invented by Muslim cooks. You can call it either Indian or Pakistani, since Pakistan was created for the Muslim population of Hindustan (the Indus river flows in Pakistan), I call it a Pakistani dessert. Either way, as a result, Indian dishes are basically Pakistani dishes as well, though Indians are usually vegetarian so they do not use meat in their dishes while Pakistanis do.

My parents aren’t very religious except for ceremonial and marriage type things. They make ghee using butter as well which is from cows. I know in villages it’s usually buffalo milk (tastes better than cows milk actually cuz more fatty)

I suspected that polytheists would use anything other than cow milk. We use cow milk only so I have never tried any other kind of milk. Personally I prefer skinny-fat milk, by the way so I doubt I would like buffalo milk.
