I've watched bodyfat transformations in Youtube from many people and they never ascend a whole PSL point by being lean unless they always had a good looking face behind the fat which is very rare. Leaning down per se won't ascend you. I'm coping too much with building muscles and look bigger that I forget that my face is still the same and I won't get girls. Face is all that matters.
