Taking a trip to Turkey to improve my ltn eye area.
Over the years my scleral show and eyelid retraction have gotten worse and I also have a pretty bad canthal tilt. Obviously the best solution would be to get both supraorbital and infraorbital implants to fix most of my eye area flaws but since I don’t have the funds for that right now, I decided to cope with soft tissue procedures instead.
I reached out to almost every oculoplastic surgeon in Turkey and finally found one I feel confident about (I’ll share her name post op if I don't get botched + I'm pretty sure she was mentioned here before).
According to her, I also have mild ptosis that needs to be addressed.
We agreed on a canthoplasty, lower lid retraction repair, upper blepharoplasty, direct brow lift, and ptosis correction (will be confirmed upon face2face examination). I also wanted to get fat grafting done with her, but she charges 2,300 euro for it which is quite expensive considering the price for other procedures and she also mentioned it might cause some additional pressure in the area. So I have decided to get the fat grafting done about two months post op in my home country for half the price.
I’m about to pay the deposit, and my surgery is scheduled for January 2026. This will be my first time traveling abroad alone so I’m a bit nervous.
Follow for updates and more details soon.
