Ipd is the pupil distance, how is a palate expander gonna do that? I think u meant pfl because pfl is how long the eye is horizontally, like this guy said, it makes the eyes wider

so palatal expansion doesnt effect molars then is what your saying? it can literally shift the molars laterally.
