I say this, but I usually end up reading Reddit posts about it being over
“Just look for a job bro” doesn’t work when there are no jobs you’re interested in or are realistically likely to get

I don’t mind my job but I also want to try something else, and staying too long in this job would probably jeopardise my chances of jobs in different fields. I definitely don’t want to end up as an office npc working a job that no one even knows why it exists

Jobs where you’re interacting with people in a conversational manner (not customer service) are very good for self development. Rotting in an office cubicle kills you from the inside. But working in security with a degree (marine biology - can’t get a job in that field), without even trying to find a job that requires a degree, seems like a waste
