I literally use shampoo once a week MAXIMUM. I went 6 months without shampoo and it didn't change shit. I just want to have my hair like when I was a kid. What the fuck happened?

Didn't I tell you, egg with oil and use baking soda for natural shampoo. Coconut oil for stopping it from drying. Don't massage or comb when wet.

Mix two eggs with extra virgin olive oil and apply liberally to entire head once every week. Let it sit for 15-20 mins, rinse in lukewarm water (important not to rinse in cold or very hot, hot will cook the egg, cold won't properly reach your scalp). See the result for yourself after your done if you don't believe me.

I just made a hair mask today with one egg, 2 tbsp of honey and coconut oil (but both were past their expiration date). I left it on my head for about 15 minutes and it didn't change much.

Both expired, honey isn't required, you should've went with virgin olive oil and two eggs, apply with hand, make it foamy and massage it all in, leave it for 30 mins then

you got dry skin by any chance? dry people have dry hair too because of limited sebum production. experiment with oils and conditioners and skip the sulfates and silicons.

damn. do you have curly hair? have you tried a clarifying shampoo followed by a conditioner without any sulfates/silicons? In my experience, using a clarifying shampoo and then simply cowashing (nopoo) cured my dry hair problem. Hair products of any kind that contain silicons and sulfates dry and clog the hair cuticle and warrant a routine clarifying shampoo wash. Even (by chance) if you aren't curly haired, I highly recommend the CG hair regime (curly girl/guy).

I actually don't know, but I'm starting to suspect I have curly hair. My dad has kind of curly hair, but my mom has straight sleek hair.

When I was a kid my hair used to be long and curly like my dad's, but ever since I grew up the curls don't appear anymore and my hair got extremely dry, rough, frizzy and dull.

I might try curly hair products without sulfates and silicons. Thank you.
