I have an interview for a job that’s looking after lab animals, but also requires you to cull them at the end of studies, which is against my morals and brings bad karma

So I don’t want the job. BUT I’m gonna try and portray myself as someone who would be very positive for animal welfare, and ask if I could avoid killing them personally. Therefore if they say no (likely), I lose nothing, since I won’t take the job if the answer is no. And if they say yes, I have a job of caring for lab animals

This is like cashier going to a interview and saying i wont sell alcohol bc its against my religion . Its part of the job unless you are some well know eminent person the answer is more likely going to be know . I hope they can offer a different position .

Yes but I have nothing to lose. I already booked the day off work, and I’ll use it as interview practice
