Crohn's is a form of IBD, the other form is called Ulcerative Colitis which I have

UC is generally the better of the two since it only affects the colon, whereas Crohn's may affect the entire digestive tract

in my worst flare 40+ times a day bloody diarrhea while simultaneously vomiting from the pain

but i waited till it got to its worse and almost needed a blood transfusion

now i'm on an immunosuppressant medication which is really just a cope medicine they use to suppress the inflammatory cytokines attacking my intestine but in reality its just a bandaid to the actual problem which they "supposedly" don't know the root cause of is

basically ur body is attacking ur healthy colon or small intestine (if u are diagnosed with Crohn's then it could be attacking both)

depending on ur diagnosis i can tell more, if its UC there may be some promising and recent research but the jews don't want their $70,000 infusions taken off the market so of course they'll do everything in their power to suppress cures

they'll tell u its an autoimmune disease but I find that to be pure cope since they don't know the root cause

during a flare I cannot go outside much, but my life was already like that prior so not much changed besides more rushing to the toilet, sometimes I would shit myself if I was not quick enough

now in remission I can do what I want more or less, even plan to go to Europe next year for some travels

since there is no cure, u go through periods of flares aka active periods of inflammation, bleeding, pain, and then if u get into remission, that is the period in which u have no inflammation, pain, bleeding

but its "remission" because its not permanent

some are in remission for years, others months
