In layman terms the "diet" just boils down to optimizing certain hormones (such as lowering serotonin levels and eliminating PUFAs from the diet), impugning modern medical dogma and prompting longevity.

My take is that "cells create tissues, tissues creates organs, organs create you" then why not give cells their preferred fuel (glucose) to create energy efficiently which then allows the creation of youth hormones that makes the organism more resilient to diseases. But because of excess pufas consumption, environmental stressors and lifestyle promoting hyperventilation cells can't create energy efficiently due to cellular hypoxia and pufas interfering with glucose oxidation and thus stress hormones increase as adrenals have to compensate for weak thyroid function.

Danny Roddy introduces Raypeats work in "the peat whisperer" book, which should give you good understanding of the bioenergetic sphere.

Yea that's basically the concept regarding cells and metabolization. We can say that we truly are what we eat.
