I'm literally getting shamed for not understanding a language I have no business knowing

The other day this woman spoke to be in Bengali because she assumed I was Bengali (I guess I look Bengali) and I just responded to her with "I don't know" in an American accent

She probably thought I was one of those Bengali people that only speak English & she kinda just laughed and said "You don't speak Bengali?" and I honestly just felt like she was judging the hell out of me lol.
