It will cost double the money and triple the time compared to just ordering them but it's fun to cook.

They are actually pretty mogger. I have good recipesfaggot tacos
No. Tacos from a (good) restaurant are about $4 each. For me to buy the shells, ground beef, seasoning packets, cheese, taco sauce, and onions it will cost about $40. The first time it cost me over $50 because I also had to buy a cheese grader.wouldn’t it cost more to order it

thanks saar will tryTaco shells should be premade Ive found them in Rome & Thailand (El Paso/American brand imported into Tops fine foods) however in shitstanbul you cant find anything like that so you have to make even the shells from scratch. But Ill assume ur not living in a shithole
In italy I couldn't find taco seasoning packet so you have to make that yourself too:
Chilli Powder 1-1.5 Tablespoons
Cumin - 2 Teaspoons
Paprika - 1 Teaspoon
Garlic Powder 1 Teaspoon
Onion Powder 1 Teaspoon
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Black Pepper 1 Teaspoon
2lbs Ground Beef, it shouldn't be too lean (10% fat is too low, imo) but can be preference.
Mix the seasoning in.
Brown the meat in the pan periodically mixing/chopping/flipping it on medium heat it takes only about 10-15 minutes.
You should drain the excess grease from the pan after cooking.
I re-add garlic powder at the end because cooking makes it lose its flavor.
for the cheese I mix sharp cheddar and mozzarella, I never buy pre shredded but always buy the block and shred it yourself for fresher texture. I hate the dry powdery surface texture of pre shredded cheese. I also dont like the bland white cheese used in most Mexican restaurants.
In America I go for the Ortega brand smooth taco sauce, it should be refrigerated. Cold, smooth (not chunky) taco sauce on a hot, flavorful taco is so fucking good my mouth is watering thinking about it.
However that is not available overseas so I usually settle for some other smooth premade taco sauce but nothing compares to Ortega.
