What country are you in? Guessing you aren't American given good public transport.

Its really just like a person at a hotel after hours and you make sure no one does anything weird. Not like I will have a gun or anything... Mainly just making sure no one drunk is messing around.

Just someone there at the middle of the night to keep an eye on things going to see if I can bring my laptop with me after management all goes home

Good luck man, I know you’ve been in a lot of shitty situations but this should be a good opportunity for things to start turning around.

And don’t neglect your health,
good sleep, working out, eating high protein and making sure I got enough Vitamin D has made a marginal improvement to my ADHD symptoms, it’s not the same as a stimulant but I’ve been able to control myself a lot more.

I truly hope from the bottom of my heart that things go well for you.

Yeah I didn't believe in the vitamin D meme but after taking it I felt much better (got blood work done and I was very low in it). I also noticed my mood rapidly improves in winter if I go on holiday to somewhere sunny I feel better for the next 3 weeks after that. So I am never not going to take vitamin D over the winter if I can even get half the benefits of a sunny climate in the winter by taking a pill then its worth it.

I will probably have a more fucked up sleep schedule but I've heard night shift isn't terrible the worst thing you can do for sleep is inconsistencies. Its better to consistently be a night owl everyday then to change it up over the weekends. In the long term night shift is still bad but won't be doing this for longer then a year I would imagine

I genuinely am convinced most homeless people are severely mentally ill or on drugs. I've seen pan handlers make 100 a day. Which isn't much but it would get you off the streets in less then a month if you seriously wanted to.

Most people I see in places like LA are obviously on drugs. Its not like in Japan where its just old people who didn't save like they are all tweakers. I don't really want to sleep near dangerous mentally ill drug addicts good way to get stabbed

I literally noticed the difference recently JFL, I ran out of of Vitamin D and didn’t get any for 2 days and I instantly became pessimistic and stressed out. As soon as I started taking it again my mood flipped.

And for sleep maybe you could sleep right after your classes end and study the material through your night shift.

Yeah I just hate the liberals who want people to feel bad for these people despite them harassing people on subways or on the streets.

The idea that homeless people are just everyday people who have fallen on hard times is bullshit. I feel bad for a guy working at walmart but I'd never give money to a homeless person unless they looked under 18 or had an physical disability.

Some of these people should be in mental wards too they really need to fund those more 1-5% of the population doesn't really belong in society unless they have relatives to take them in. These people should be given a choice to be in mental wards or get off the streets.
