I will never find any sense of contentment in life. I will never be “ok”. I will never feel like everything is right in the world. I will never feel loved. I’ll never feel like those storms have passed. But I can get used to having the clouds around. I can dance in the rain.
I don’t have to try to feel better all the time. It makes me so much sadder and more tired to do that.
Maybe I should just accept the way things are. Accept that it’s never going to stop hurting. That itself can make the hurt easier to bear
