That's why I've been less active. Since the end of August, I've been going to university and I was working a job at a furniture store. Being a productive member of society! I quit my job a week ago due to my insomnia, but a few days later someone offered me a job in another field. I'm not sure if I'll take the job, but yeah I'm turning my life around. It's time. Ten years of rotting was more than enough. And no, I'm not the oldest student in the classroom. There's people in their 20s, 30s, 40s and even 50s. I get along with everyone. Out of privacy concerns, I won't share what I'm majoring in. I might share it in the future, but for now I'm keeping quiet about it. Heh.
Me too bhai. I'm finally set to start school again for next year. And possibly might have a job lined up too.

Time for us oldcels to rebel against the NEET lyfe :ogre::ogre: a decade was enough

Whats ur major

The closest thing I got to ascension was at my furniture store job, I met an intern there and after knowing her for 3 days she asked if I wanted to watch a movie with her together at the cinema. We ended up going the next night. :feelsautistic::Comfy: (I discovered she's married, and it was a one-time thing haha so it's whatever). But yeah realistically I don't see myself ascending within 5 years at least.
I meant ascend in life. Car, job, and hopefully, your own apartment. It's more than dating.

The reason I am sceptical about taking the job is because I'm not sure if I can do it, you know? I'm actually going there tomorrow to see if I can manage it. We'll see how it goes. But I 100% agree with what you say, once any negative habits arise then it ends with a slow descent into rotting. That's why I was always unable to stick to anything because I found excuses to just embrace my NEETdom again and leave everything behind (due to negative habits).
Yeah its pretty normal to be sceptical about being able to do a new job at first though. Usually you adapt quickly though and that's how you build confidence long term.

why did you post this like you ascended or something? This is one of the worst things that can happen to someone

Its not as big a deal as most on here make it out to be. Plenty of people have to restart even later because of bad life circumstances (brutal divorces, addiction problems, health problems etc). A large amount of people waste their 20s even if they dont rot.

You still look young at 30 (unless you let yourself go) it gets harder 35-40+ id say because you have age discrimination at that point. Although its still not impossible.

Most users here are just really young so have the perspective that at 30 life is over and you are supposed to be old and boring with kids that are the only thing you focus on.
