I've been doing research into how to make my diet healthier, how to moderate, etc, and the more research I do into the comical amount of calories, garbage, etc, found in most sugar-heavy junk foods, the more convinced I become that there actually just is no such thing as 'moderation' when it comes to anything that has anything more than the most trivial amount of added sugar in it.
See those 4 Oreos below (those are actually made-made cookies, but just fucking pretend they are Oreos)? They are 102 calories per cookie, despite being literally a single bite each. Those 4 small little things + one glass of milk contain literally as many calories as your entire fucking lunch or dinner.
Nobody just fucking eats 4 small oreos and feels satisfied.
Other types of sugar treats as just as bad. A slice of cake can easily be 1200+ calories.
"B-b-but just eat this stuff once a week on Saturdays
"
Nobody fucking does that in real life. Ok, maybe a tiny minority does, but for 99% of humans once sugar becomes a normal stable in your diet it starts creeping into your non-weekend days as well, largely because it's so easy to underestimate the calories in it. Nobody looks at 4 tiny cookies and thinks "this has the same number of calories as dinner."
Then on top of this, it just makes you feel like fucking shit in general.
I'll also throw this in here as well: eating too much meat is also low IQ and an easy way of becoming too fat. Just fucking lol at eating some giant steak when you could've easily split the meat in half or even three separate portions and still had more than enough insofar as you mixed it in with veggies and maybe some walnuts.
Honestly, eating healthy and not being fat is not even especially complicated. Most people are just fucking weak.
