I'm not even that good at bass

Im better than all the frustrated musicians on reddit and forums asking for advice on how to play fast yet utter trash compared to actual virtuosos lol.

Even as a musician Im DEAD AVERAGE and stuck in the "in between" category just like in every aspect of life.

I could get better if i wanted to but what for? Just to get a few more upvotes on instagram from people i dont give a shit about? Because that all im getting.

Not to mention i tried to compound 3 years of practice into 1 year which was a rly stupid idea. Bass takes 3 years minimum even for people with perfect conditioning due to being an instrument thats not meant to solo on.

And after a certain point everything starts sounding the same, the same patterns repeating over and over with slight variations and it drives me crazy.

i have original material. sadly coming up with stuff is hard. usually i transcribe ideas from saxophone and guitar players.
