It used to be extreme, yes. Now it’s a lot better, but it’s still there. Just not as bad as it used to be. I would shower 3 times in a row and cover every bit of myself with foam because that’s when I would feel clean. And then I wouldn’t leave the house anymore.

Doesn’t just affect your relationship with family, but also with friends.

They’d be like “When you call us, we come out and hang out with you buy when we call you, you don’t want to hang out with us!” Something I heard a lot. They didn’t understand that it was unrelated to that, I just didn’t want to do my daily cleansing ritual. It was mentally exhausting.

Ocd is still manageable.
