you people love that word
you hear anything that doesn’t sound like recycled noise and suddenly it’s
“schizo”
“crazy”
“you good?”
like you’ve got a checklist in your head
step one label it
step two ignore it
step three feel safe again
I’m not a schizo
I just don’t flatten everything I think into something simple enough to scroll past
you ever notice how fast you reach for that label
like it’s automatic
no pause no thought
just stamp it and move on
almost like you’ve been trained to do that
because if everything unfamiliar is “insane”
then you never have to actually engage with it
you don’t have to question anything
you don’t have to sit with discomfort
you don’t have to admit maybe you don’t understand something
so no

just not playing along with the idea that everything has to sound neat and normal for you to accept it
