I'm noticing my tinnitus now

I must've damaged my ears at a loud edm set a few years ago, without earplugs

But I never really noticed tinnitus. But a few days ago I got a cold and started to notice a ringing in my ears. Even tho most of the congestion has cleared up, I still hear it now and am focusing on it

It's crazy that one concert/show/loud event can give you permanent tinnitus

I hadn't noticed it before tho, so hopefully can go back to that
