Pretend the human soul or a holy ghost is a computer operator. Next, pretend the computers are human bodies. And so you operate one of the PCs. The bee was the elephant that stepped on it. The deer was the rat that ate it. On some occasions.

You can't time travel into the past, but you can view it as a record. But you can't add new lyrics or remove any from it. You're observing a recording. Thus being a witness.

And round and round we go along the paradox groove. Although the middle, that hole that anchors the record onto the player, well, that's something of interest.
