Do you understand that he can’t just experience mandibular advancement relative to maxillary because he is young? Him being young has absolutely nothing to do with the fact he has skeletal recessions. You being young does not justify a particular recession existing. A well developed (healthy) child will have proper jaw development even as a toddler.

If you get BSSO to address the mandibular recession then you are going to give him an underbite, hence he needs Bimax to maintain the appropriate occlusion. His midface is very blatantly recessed. He could even be a candidate for a LF2 but I would just suggest LF1 high cut with infras as per my initial post.

This is so true I always see motherfuckers like "I'm 14 so I will grow out of my recession", like no, no you will not. 95%+ of mandibular growth has already been reached, 85% by the time you're 5 years old. You should never be recessed at any age, and don't expect your mandible to just magically catch up during puberty.
