I'm regretting deleting my book

That's like 900 pages down the drain. I don't even know why I deleted it, I was like 70% through the story already. Fek, now I got to rewrite the whole dam thing.

yea tbh, i was trying to write a blackpilled failed hero's journey story, but it was coming across as an eragon ripoff. I'll do a proper rewrite this time, and do a realistic blackpilled ending this time where the "hero" dies or something idk lel.

My advice is that you try to correct the things that you don't like. You mention the ending. You can change the ending without throwing out 900 pages.

You could try ChatGPT and ask it to rewrite your book in a different manner. Here's a prompt that could make your book better:

"I'm writing a novel that is currently 900 pages long; it's 70% finished, but I'm unhappy with how it's going, so I'm thinking of scrapping it and rewriting the whole book. I can't be bothered to rewrite the whole book myself, so I want you to rewrite it.
The book needs to be harsh and dark. Keep that in mind. I will now copy and paste the first page, and then you rewrite:"
