Sad, but you can try some niche games that don't require much hardware, you can try to convince your mother to buy a gaming pc on the premise that they are much more powerful and tend to last longer than the average computer. Though if that option fails then you can try to sneak in a low power gpu into your motherbroad(idk a 1650 low profile?). That is all I can think of to help.
