I want to spend around 5K on a nice bike. Electric or motor propelled (preferably electric cos no insurance + easier to out run police)

I currently have around 1k saved I could spend @Thomas DOM thoughts?

I used to own a few electric bikes (sold them) around that price, however power is addictive once you experience that level you don’t want to go back.

Typically ebikes around 1k are very bottom spec frames with messy electronics. The nice ones start around 2-3k and if I was to buy a motorbike then I would need to purchase insurance , do CBT etc.

I already own a norco c1 valence racing bicycle. My dad gave it to me after he bought it new for around 2k in 2014.

Nothing is wrong with pedal bikes I been riding them the whole of my life.

yeah they’re torquey but you don’t get the same feel of revving the bike, exhaust sounds etc
and they look like shit
