I'm scared of giving up

That is one thought that terrifies me. Doing everything well, getting a job, studying, getting my degree. And then, collapsing and giving up on everything

I don't want that to happen, I am able to brainwash myself to do all that shitty stuff. But sometimes I feel like it's just not in my nature to be a slave of the system to survive. Why do people waste their life dedicating it to work?
