yes, hes directing spider-man 5 after his (shitty) naruto live action film and mentioned something about zendaya and tom needing the break anyways since they just got marriied

i liked her as mj though and i think her character was important to capturing his emotional depth and turmoil, all the other spider-man movies was just peter being cucked and his gf dying, this was refreshing

If MJ remains the love interest, you’ll know it’s probably Tom and Zendaya pushing for it behind the scenes. It’s so unnecessary to keep her as the main love interest and she’d be a better written character if she was left in the past with her memories wiped.
