Try microdosing first IMO, megadosing is outdated and often just needlessly causes tons of extra side-effects. For retinoids to work you often just need long enough time on them and give them time to work and shrink sebaceous glands over time, normalize keratin etc than megadosing.

I have taken oral retinol for years now and cleared the fuck out of skin with that + suppressing the trash hormone DHT. I only microdose it now for maintenance, had to take a break this winter too because it literally made my skin around my mouth super red, dry, irritated and flakey lol.

Edit: Got perfect clear skin now too. Shit mogs and halos

wait accutane reduces dht?

Noo, I mean I suppress DHT also which also reduces sebum production, dutasteride especially. Dutasteride also helps shrink sebaceous glands over time. It is like a double whammy you both reduce AR receptor activity in the sebaceous glands and help shrink them together with retinoids which also help shrink them. Suppressing DHT is also often EXTREMELY effective for acne even with finasteride, many guys clear up their skin just from that especially on dutasteride.
