I have only been there 8 days in total, but on day 4 I have already had students telling me they like me more than their homeroom teacher. And on day 7 I also have had students telling me they wished I was the homeroom teacher. You would assume the male students are saying this to me, but they’re actually the female students. I kind of feel bad in a way because the homeroom teacher is a nice person herself, she’s been nothing but helpful, positive and understanding so far. I’m gonna miss these students when the summer comes.
