I think they like you man congrats and it has only been ur first few classes bhai, you’ll need time to settle and interact with other peopleI went in unprepared. I did prep in the form of creating a PowerPoint. But that’s as far as lesson planning went. It was a conscious decision on my part; if I do this at my worst, then I can only get better from here.
I taught two classes and this was my third time with them. Personally, I think I did horrible. The students and mentor teacher were a lot more positive, saying I did a good job. They even started applauding at the end. Bless them, they’re too kind.
In both classes, at the end I would have a set of students come up to me and tell me nice things. Either about me as a teacher or saying they liked my PowerPoint design. These four students didn’t interact with me before nor did I interact with them, so while it was unexpected, it was also very nice.
Having the name ghost would be dope tho

Thanks!nice nice nice
If they do like me, I’d be very surprised because I’ve barely interacted with the students. In one class, I didn’t really interact with anyone and in the other class, I interacted with 4 students. Out of total of 40 students, I think.I think they like you man congrats and it has only been ur first few classes bhai, you’ll need time to settle and interact with other people
That’s true, but I don’t think any South Asian parent would think of doing that.Having the name ghost would be dope tho![]()
I’m also doing your job it’s funny 2 truecels teaching a class of kidsI went in unprepared. I did prep in the form of creating a PowerPoint. But that’s as far as lesson planning went. It was a conscious decision on my part; if I do this at my worst, then I can only get better from here.

Thank you bhai! The mentor teacher asked if I would be able to come up with any exercises for the topic they discussed last week, but I wasn’t sure if I would be able to (I thought they wanted innovative exercises), but I was told I could just do a standard “fill in the blanks” exercise, so I’m going to work on that today, and send it to the mentor teacher to ask if it’s ok.Very happy for you Bhai![]()

What the hell! You got into teaching as well? That’s a very funny but also very unexpected coincidence! What subject are you teaching and what grade? And are you like a substitute teacher or something like that? What’s the deal here exactly? I am doing this as part of my internship because my major is in education.I’m also doing your job it’s funny 2 truecels teaching a class of kids
Brutal it’s annoying cos the girls like me and call me the handsome teacher yet I’m incel
Actually caused me pain ngl like a part of me died when I hear it
Only good thing is nobody assumes I’m a incel as long as they don’t know me properly I’m fine only those who know me know I’m incel
your teaching in the netherlands right?I went in unprepared. I did prep in the form of creating a PowerPoint. But that’s as far as lesson planning went. It was a conscious decision on my part; if I do this at my worst, then I can only get better from here.

That’s correct! If I was in the United States, I would have just become a sub instead. You don’t need a teaching license for that.your teaching in the netherlands right?
are you "just staying for some time" or acctually permanently living in the nethlandsThat’s correct! If I was in the United States, I would have just become a sub instead. You don’t need a teaching license for that.

this is sweet akhiBefore I taught the second class.. One of the students said to the teacher “I want to sit next to Ghost!” And the teacher corrected him, saying “That’s Mr. Ghost for you.” I didn’t want to overstep as it’s their class so I didn’t say anything, but I don’t mind the students calling me by my first name. I won’t tell them that though as I don’t want to undermine the main teacher’s authority.![]()

I was born and raised in the Netherlands. I still live here, so I guess permanently living in the Netherlands.are you "just staying for some time" or acctually permanently living in the nethlands
Aww thank you so much, means a lot coming from a great guy such as yourself.this is sweet akhi
don't be so hard on yourself
you did great, im sure
the fact that you got complimented and the mr ghost gesture happened already puts you above most of these teachers who are starting up
it shows that they see you as a friend too
good luck habibi, make sure you have fun and don't put yourself down too hard. you're doing great![]()

This nigger when a normal greycel - dnr kysHoly mirin,
Keep us updated!
Going to give my science exam wish me luck alhaimdullaAww thank you so much, means a lot coming from a great guy such as yourself.
I agree, I'm probably too hard on myself but for what it's worth, I think my second lesson went much smoother. What I did wrong is in my first class, I asked the students if they wanted me to do this in Dutch or if they wanted me to do it in English, and it was a mixed back. So I was constantly switching from Dutch to English to keep everyone satisfied.
But that backfired since alternating between two languages, despite me being fluent in both, ended up making me stumble over words. When I did my second lesson (which I only did because my mentor teacher asked me to do, because honestly I didn't feel like doing another lesson since I felt I did horrible the first class), I didn't ask them what language they wanted me to do it in, I just went for English right away and then that class went a lot smoother. I noticed an actual difference.
Haha yeah I think some of them do see me as some kind of friend? I wasn't there the week before I gave my first lesson and my mentor teacher said that when I wasn't present (since the school suddenly changed the schedule, I come in at 1:30 PM and their English class was in the morning this time), the same student who said he wanted to sit next to me, that he asked the teacher where I was.
Two weeks ago, he also stuck up for me when I was in the hallway with him and some of his classmates and a student who isn't in the class asked him "Who's this goon?" (about me) and he was like "Ayo whatcha calling him a goon for? Don't talk about Ghost like that."
So yeah I guess some of the students have taken a liking to me, I didn't really interact with most of them because I thought I would make them feel uncomfortable (being a bearded man and all).
always bro, you deserve all the kind wordsAww thank you so much, means a lot coming from a great guy such as yourself.

Good luck Gurjar guy.Going to give my science exam wish me luck alhaimdulla

Awww you’re way too kindalways bro, you deserve all the kind words
it's good that you're being self-aware and tolerant of your mistakes. it takes a strong dude to do that, so, absolute props to you my friend
just keep doing what you're doing, make the lessons enjoyable, make sure that the students value you, and of course, be likeable (should be easy when you're such a kind soul haha)
much love habibi![]()
, it’s almost like you’re one of the students.
much love bhaijaan.it would be an honor to be taught by you gengarAwww you’re way too kind, it’s almost like you’re one of the students.

yeahh that will definitely be a step up in difficulty. it's good that they're giving you a path towards that, rather than just sticking you into a classroom and like, "get on with it" type shitLuckily, I don’t have to do entire lessons just yet. For now, it’s just parts of lessons. For my university, I have to teach five parts of a lesson. And then in May, I have to teach an entire lesson. I think that’s gonna be more difficult to do.
always try your bestBut I’ll try my best, thank you!much love bhaijaan.

It's a learning experience bhai. Seems like you did good thoughI went in unprepared. I did prep in the form of creating a PowerPoint. But that’s as far as lesson planning went. It was a conscious decision on my part; if I do this at my worst, then I can only get better from here.
