pros of doing surgery in kroea are first of all it is my country so it doesnt cost plane tickets and i can communicate well, and price is pretty reasonable to those who charge 40 50k euros.

1. uglies get ladies all the time. but if we look into their life they could be getting one in 6 months. actually i dont think looks is necessarily more important in korea. i find western girls even more superficial sometimes. now its self evident it's just the nature written in our dna to only care about looks.
2. there are a lot. last week new wave came in for exchange student thing.
3. women are more straightforward than european women. they admit its all about looks without any shame while european women like to conceal their superficiality. even when i was in highschool every girl was not hesitant to rate boys looks and tell who is ugly or not.. media has been reinforcing the superficiality and technically erased all the shame from such mentality. its very normalized.
I havent been the victim of i like you you're handsome yet, since im not a chad and i do not exchange with korean women at all. but i know they do say things without shame.
4. i've never dated a korean woman. so I don't know.

2. there are a lot of incels. big portion of population doesnt even want to exchange with women. dont even try to talk to women just accepted their fate. recently there has been a lot of mass shanking incidents and they were all done by incels.
3. standards are really high and mainly its because its very normalized on the internet for korean people to bring each other down for having shit job or having been to shit university, being short, ugly, the list goes on. somehow people are obsessed with being better than other koreans. and me myself was exposed to this since very young age, it has been part of me too. it made me suffer a lot.
4. korea is not even wealthy. minimum wage is like 6 dollars.

People forget that the jaw shifting happens often then you think. Even if you the surgery is performed perfectly there is a chance that the TMJ shifts. A shift of 0.05mm for a stable bite around there could he a shift of like 2mm at the middle causing a misalignment. Depends what you said to the surgeon.

i find it hard to understand these hyper-meritocratic societies because I believe no one actually has "merit" or objectively deserves more than others since we are all a product of genetics and environment, both of which aren't in our control if you really think about it (illusion of free will). so, even if we remove social inequalities for the most part, like in korea, meritocracy will end up selecting the most genetically gifted (IQ, stress tolerance, natural discipline etc) which although makes sense in a purely rational sense of economic growth, will end up fucking the majority who aren't meant for this lifestyle as there are not many other variables at play.

it definitely doesn't sound easy to work something like a 996 (not sure if the same name applies to SK but that's what they call the working hours in china, 9 to 9, monday to saturday), so I assume there are people who simply choose to opt out of this system and LDAR despite the pressure from society? that must also be giga fucked for the state since the amount of young people is getting smaller and smaller (0.7 fertility rate is just brutal) and they will have to not only pay for the elderly but also for the NEETs. although my knowledge of the topic isn't really big, I can't see a society like this lasting 50 more years if things stay the way they currently are in SK
