Yea moreover, competitive games are way too crowded to be a viable way out the hood. Niggas wanna go pro on league of legends when you have to be 0.01 percent top player to even consider going in a shit d tier pro league. These results are achieved after tens of thousands of hours, all this for minimum wage and serious health problems. Thats the equivalent of doing a full medicine course of ten-fifteen years, becoming a neuro surgeon and being paid 100k a month irl.
Competitive games are also mostly shit, the meta is dictated by some random ass nerd that will prioritize the normie way of winning ( gayest way to win in most cases ). These games always and will always play on human's EGO to be economically viable, league has made an algorithm to make you stuck and play longer for example which is a nice example of that. The sooner u quit any form of online toxic competitiveness, the sooner your happiness and actual meaningful irl competitiveness will grow

I used to love games like cod and battlefield then I realized I never would be able to go pro unless I found a good team or some shut. Then I switched to 1v1 games in hopes of making it to the big bois but I lacked the skill to make it. Thus leading to this thread.
