I'm too anxious to blow my nose in public

Each of the classrooms at my school have Kleenex at the front.

It's normal for most kids to go up to the front and get some Kleenex, blow their nose, and throw the used wipes away.

For some reason, I'm too anxious to do that.

Instead, I go to the bathrooms, grab the tissues they have there, and blow my nose into those if I have to.

Even then, I only do those when other people aren't in the bathroom.

I'm not sure what makes me so ashamed to so much as blow my nose.

It's been hell for me the past week, I've been sick and refusing to blow my nose in class - I end up swallowing the snot instead and the condition of my throat gets even worse.

in the us where i live they generally just refer you to the community college which is 10x nicer cuz colleges classes are only 1 or 2 times a week
