I'm trying to work up the courage to record a commentary for my youtube vid in my new apartment

The people in the apartment next to me or above me may be able to hear me talking in my "youtube tone"
I usually did it when I had a free house back home or other people were opposite side of house

Put a big blanket over yourself and the mic (hold it or set it on something so the mic has room to breathe though) it will make it impossible for anyone to hear through the walls and improve the quality of the audio too

I did this and felt comfortable with speaking after a few lines and the commentary turned out good
