They were better during the previous government, with our PM even visiting Russia (on the same day that they invaded Ukraine, which was seen as a political blunder in the country, but it was just a coincidence).

Then how come they’ve not been able to subjugate Ukraine? The western world had feared the mighty Soviet Union for a long time; but after Afghanistan and now this… it’s clear that they had miscalculated the prowess of the Russians. I’m neutral towards both Ukraine and Russia, though, but just sharing an objective vision.
