I like both, I’ve seen every Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie so far. The OG ones have their own charm, though. But I do think the remake is more disturbing because of what happens to Kemper (I realized that’s an ode to Edmund Kemper, something I didn’t know back when I first watched it). I don’t think that happens in the original but I could be wrong (spoilers ahead — talking about Leatherface cutting off the face of the protagonist’s (boy)friend and then confronting them).
