Yeah me too, tried snus, vape and cigs but still didn’t get addictedI genuinely tried to get addicted to nicotine and straight up got bored of it after a few weeks
Yeah all of my friends smokeBrother, at least 1/5 adults in the west are addicted to nicotine. It's not that rare and I can't imagine it's difficult to understand how one gets addicted to nicotine.
I grew up around smokers in my family. Luckily I don't smoke, but you can see that the concept of smoking gets normalized to these people.
People come back to nicotine mainly because of its effects on the brain. A quick reward, nicotine stimulates the release of dopamine, which produces a feeling of pleasure. The brain “remembers” that it is something good. Physical dependence, the body gets used to it and demands further doses. Lack of nicotine leads to symptoms such as stress and nicotine craving. Stress reduction (apparent), nicotine temporarily calms down, but mainly relieves the symptoms of its lack, not actual stress. Social factors, the environment and other smokers may encourage people to return. I'm not addicted myself, but I read something about itGenuenly how
