I honestly wouldn’t say with mayos that it’s seen as quirky. Maybe in your own experience this is true but not really for me. Physically or mentally impaired kids at my school are all treated pretty much the same

Damn, I remember when I was a young kid getting harshly bullied for my looks and I used to dream about becoming disabled, because I assumed then at least people would feel some sort of empathy towards me.
