England can technically be called Sexland. You may be thinking, "That is ridiculous," but it's true. A couple thousand years ago, England was being settled by local native tribes. Meanwhile in Germany, some German tribes called Angles (!?!?) and Saxons (?!?!?) said: Germany's boring, let's go sailing. Basically the tribes came to England and had some very fun times with each other. This created a new race, the Anglo-Saxons, basically English people. Congrats, now you have beautiful teeth folk, tea drinkers, Fish N' Chip eaters, and opium sellers. Good old English people. Now let's see how England got its name. England was named after the Anglos in "Anglo-Saxons," going from Angland to England. But what if England was named after the Saxons? That's right. Sexland.
