it's true but the great majority of foods high in cholesterol are high in saturated fats which linearly increase your ldl cholesterol and cause plaque build up in the arteries so the result is the same

im a former carnivore didn't wanna believe it but if you look at ancient egypt the pharaohs who ate mainly high saturated fat animal foods because it was a status symbol died fo heart disease at around 35 while the peasants who ate a grain based diet lived long into their 70s without atherosclerosis

also, saturated fat/cholesterol belivers could hedge their bets and simply eat health promoting saturated fat foods like dairy and fish, instead of red meat/meat. There is 0 logic in meat eating
