It's the same as going bald pretty much. Balding might be worse though. My friend with the acne scars always had girls. He was not popular per se around girls but he always had a girl around him. You can try, but tbh, even after $1000s, people barely get any improvement. His are a bit too deep and widespread to see any significant improvement.
The scars never go away completely, so you will always be left with some texture anyways.
Most of the photos you see online before and after laser are faked/edited.
The real stuff is on the sub-reddit and acne.org
