Imagine being a CEO of a space company and then there is a planet killer asteriod heading towards earth and is going to hit earth within a year. Pentagon , Russia and China couldn't do shit about it so the president dials you up to utilize your resources in a massive space Noah's ark mission to preserve humanity. The ship vessels are going to take off within 3 hours and you see a bunch of your past bullies with their cronies weeping like a bitch and asking you to let them in.
Imagine being a top neurosurgeon. You got a referral case from rural hospital. It is an almost inoperatable case. You are the nearest and the most competent specialist in your area. It turns out that patient is your bully and then he sobs in fear telling you that he feels sorry for what he did to you.
(In this case, it's unrealistic to have your bully at your "mercy" because it's against the laws and regulations , it's your job as a physician to heal him)
