I've noticed it too. Before I started hard mewing and chewing my face was a bloated jawlet joke with no visible cheekbones and not a clearly defined lower third.

But you could filter the good ones from the trash. If asked someone a question and they were willing to help no matter how you look that would be a good indicator.
