This is a good moment for you to try GNU/Linux, just download and install Ubuntu or Manjaro, if you need to play games Steam has Proton (play Windows games on your PC) or you could just dualboot to Windows.

I tried Gentoo before Void. Gentoo was too high maintenance for me. I like the minimalist concept and the ability to adjust program features however I want though.
Void is similarly complicated to install (I did the chroot method, but it has a graphical installer) but lower maintenance once it runs. It has a binary package manager and you can use source packages, but not as customisable as Gentoo. I run it with xfce.

But I have 2 issues with Void:
- If I need to shutdown or restart i need to hit the power switch because it gets stuck during the shutdown process.
- If the screen locks due to timeout sometimes i get graphics glitches, this is fixed by relogin. Probably a driver issue.

Nothing serious just slight inconveniences. Probably could fix it if i was not so lazy about it.

Apart from the issues I like it alot. Mostly because of its name. The distro is very niche.
I would probably run Gentoo if installing new programs would not take so long (They need to be compiled from source and recompiled for every update)

just use revios custom windows 10 install. you can disable cortana windows store and updates. i did that, changed my life. widows is getting noticably slower these last 4 years..the best version is from 2017.. which i have now. search up Fr33thy on youtube..he's the best win 10 tweaker. win 10 is unusable and its only getting worse.

did you try using an ethernet cable? when my wifi was buggy (didnt disconnect every 30 seconds mind you), ethernet cable fixed the issue

and the speed would be ABSOLUTELY INCONSISTENT
