Most books are written either in

3rd person: point of view of an outsider. Basically it’s when someone describes the individuals story. For example: a knight long ago slayed a dragon.

1st person: view of the protagonist, basically the individual telling his own story in a sense. “It all started when I met John…”

But 2nd person is something we don’t see often.

Basically it would be for example. A criminal retelling his whole heist from the eyes of one of the victims

Basically this Reddit thread made me think


It sounds like the rapist is writing in the point of view of a girl he raped just doesn’t seem like something worded the way a victim would even if she felt that way.

Almost like a self fantasy of sorts
