impacted canine removal

Should i get my canine removed? my canine is impacted and my ortho recommends removing it but i dont wanna end up with a recessed face. Any other ways to fix this?

i got the same thing bro, this shit sucks ass. my midline is 4mm off center and palate's giga narrow. do you have space for it to come down? ask for them to use a gold chain to bring it down.

They're using some kind of spring to seperate the missing tooth area so it has more space to come down, i really hope i dont need to get extractions but so far all signs are good , my ortho havent said anything about extractions

I've personally been brawling with orthodontists the last 4 years insisting that i should get 4 premolars removed to create space, thank god 14 year old me was aware of the consequences of doing that and refused. I'm now 18 and I'm soon consulting with a jaw surgeon to get SARPE/3 Piece Lefort to create space. Hopefully I can keep the canine
