I had bimax surgery at 17 y/o 2 weeks ago and i'm happy with the result, it fixed my short face syndrome, asymmetry and it made me far less recessed. My face is still a bit too convex which is why i'll get chin filler or an chin implant once i'm healed. What is the better option and what are pro and cons for both?

mirin. do implant

W hardmax, get the implant filler is ass if you try and replicate bone

implant better filler can get less while time passes

Don’t they almost always offer a genio with double jaw surgery even if it’s for medical issues?

That has been my experience in the process of it, they instantly offered a genio.

Chin should usually be implant/genio filler is underwhelming for serious projections

For midface you can get away with filler if properly done.

That’s my case at least.
i had a genioplasty but it was more focused on getting my chin taller because my lower third was very short, it fixxed my recession a bit but not enough

I asked my surgeon about procedures after, you need to wait until the bone is healed 100% which takes about 6 months given you are young like me.

You might be able to get away with filler, but honestly you can get some shit doctor in turkey to do a chin implant for cheap, osteotomy’s and most eye related surgeries a are one’s you shouldn’t cheap out on but chin implants are fine.

i'm not really recessed, my chin is almost on line with my upper lip but more projection is better anyways
